I AM INTERESTED IN A SHARE. HOW DO I ORDER?

Please fill out the form on our “Contact” page regarding your interest in a beef share. We are happy to assist you with the process! We will follow your interest up with an email providing you with information on how to pay your $100 non refundable down deposit. This will reserve your spot.

WHAT CUTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Each customer is able to customize their order, therefore, all cuts are available! When you order a 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef share, the butcher will contact you in regards to how you like your share processed. The butcher will help walk you through the ordering process. This will include specific cuts, as well as thickness and packaging of each cut. For example, ground beef can be packaged into 1 lb, 1.5 lb, or 2 lb tubes. Steaks can be in 1 inch, 1.5 inches, or 2 inches thick. Please refer to following chart for standard processing beef cuts.

WHEN WILL MY BEEF SHARE BE READY?

The butcher will contact you via phone approximately 14-21 days after your designated butcher date. Once we receive the hanging (carcass) weight from the butcher, we will contact you with the weight and remaining balance of your payment. Each customer will receive a separate invoice from WCC and the butcher. Processing costs will be due to the butcher at the time of pickup.

DO YOU HAVE BEEF SHARES AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND?

Our beef shares are available year round! If you are interested in purchasing a share, we ask that you reach out as soon as possible. If all spots are reserved at the time you reach out, we will add you to our waitlist. Available spots currently available for 2024 are in November.

“HOW DO I KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH BEEF I WILL BE GETTING?”

Due to the variability of different hanging (carcass) sizes, all weights listed are estimates and not guaranteed. Please refer to the pictures at the bottom of the page for estimates of approx. lbs.

DO I PICK UP MY BEEF OR DO YOU DELIVER?

All beef is processed and picked up at USDA Inspected ASC Locker in West Point, Nebraska. At this time, WCC does not deliver beef shares.

“HOW MUCH GROUND BEEF WILL I GET IN MY ORDER?”

The amount of ground beef will depend on what cuts you choose. Any cuts a customer is not interested in can be ground into ground beef.
