SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Witt Cattle Company ships all perishables every other week on MONDAYS unless otherwise stated. Shipping is only available within the Continental United States, we do not ship internationally. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. We ask for your order to be placed by Saturday at 10pm CST to ensure your products can be shipped the following scheduled Monday.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Our quality beef is processed at USDA Inspected ASC Locker in West Point, Nebraska. It is packaged correctly in individual vacuum sealed packaging.

Your WCC order will be shipped in an insulated shipping box, surrounded with enough dry ice to keep the beef at ideal, quality temperature during transit. Our goal is for all meat to arrive frozen and/or cooled. Please keep in mind that weather, smaller orders that do not completely fill the box, and shipping delays can all result in unplanned thawing of the beef. All beef should be “cool to touch” or at refrigerator temperature when it arrives.

Please allow for 3-5 business days for processing time in addition to the shipping transit times. Witt Cattle Company is not able to guarantee delivery on certain days and times.

Weather Delays - Please note that Witt Cattle Company has the right to temporarily refrain from processing orders due to severe weather. Customers will be notified immediately via phone and/or email.

UPS Ground - All packages are shipped via ground services. Witt Cattle Company charges a calculated rate per shipping address.

*Note - This schedule is an estimate and NOT a guarantee of delivery times. While we hope to meet these guidelines, please keep in mind that times of increased volume (holidays and unplanned circumstances) may extend the processing time of shipments. For some transit zones close to Nebraska, orders may arrive early.

Upon processing an order for shipment, customers will receive an email regarding all information, including a tracking # and a more precise delivery date. We highly encourage customers to monitor their packages to ensure the order can be received.

Witt Cattle Company cannot guarantee orders with incorrect shipping addresses. We ask that you ensure shipping addresses are correct before placing your order and that you only ship residential and not business. It is the consumer’s responsibility to make sure all beef can be refrigerated immediately upon arrival. Witt Cattle Company is not responsible for any packages that are stolen, lost or perish due to the recipient not being available at the time of delivery. We ask that if you are sending a gifted package, you ensure someone is available to receive the package at the time of delivery.

UPS will deliver to your door with “No Signature Required.” We do this to ensure you receive your package as soon as possible.

PROCESSING & DELIVERY

Your order should be frozen, partially frozen, or cool to the touch when opening the package. Beef that is partially thawed can be re-frozen. Customers are responsible for following health and safety guidelines when thawing and handling products.

*Caution - Your order may contain dry ice packs. It is normal for the dry ice to evaporate or disperse during the shipping process. Avoid touching dry ice with bare hands. You can get rid of the dry ice by letting it fully evaporate in the box or disposing of it outdoors away from children and pets. Do not dispose into sink, toilet or trash.

GENERAL INFORMATION

We offer FREE local pickup to all customers at Centennial Park in Bennington, NE. Please choose “Pick Up” at checkout. All beef will arrive frozen and ready for your freezer! We will contact you in regards to the first available pick up Saturday and a time.
